Reflections on Scott from a dear friend of his...

Born on feb 19th 1954 ( four days before me). History is a little scatchy, before i met him in 1971. I know he was put up for adoption along with his three older brothers. Ken, Glenn, and Charles.

I met him on a warm california nite while me and my bud were crusing. We had parked my 1950 Plymouth on the side of Bellflower Blvd. when this '55 chevy shoebox pulls in next to us. This thing was right out of "two lane blacktop", Striaght axle, BIG slicks, wheel well headers, and out jump these two "country" guys Scott and Chuck. I'd seen Scott at school once or twice but never talked to him. He sure did talk funny.. He said he was from 'lowvil' Kentucy, he had long hair so we figured he must be OK. Had moved there during the school year, His dad was in Cal, and he lived with him.

We joined the Army together in '72, but got separated in '74. I went to Germany and he stayed back at Fort Carson. Good thing because he met his wife after i left. He's been married to Laura since '79? She's a Buffalo native, that's how he ended up here. We hooked back up in Calif. in '78 after the army and stayed there till '82 then we moved to Colo. Springs Colo. We stayed there until '88 when he moved to Buffalo and We (my wife Darcy and i ) moved back to calif. Then during the riots in L.A in '92 Scott called me every nite they were burning down our nieghborhood and covinced me to move to Buffalo with them. They put us up until we got on our feet. We've been together since.

Scott has two Boys, Justin who is 23 and a Network Administrator, and Joel who is 21 and just got excepted the the capitol police force.
